Franklin sits in Venango County in Pennsylvania\'s northeast region, where humid continental weather and ice damming drive most of the roof issues we see. Our local contractors know the architectural shingle systems that hold up here, the ventilation specs the Venango County inspectors want to see, and the insurance carriers that actually pay claims fairly.
Given Franklin\'s climate exposure, our pros most often recommend architectural shingle or slate for residential work. Coastal exposure means high-wind shingles (130 mph rated) and proper deck-to-rafter fastening are non-negotiable.
Pennsylvania requires a Home Improvement Contractor (HIC) registration with the Attorney General for residential work over $5,000.
Every service below is available throughout Franklin and the surrounding Venango County area.

"Scenic View Roofing replaced the roof on my home in December 2025. It was a complicated job because there was a great deal of deferred maintenance that prior owners had neglected for years. I am so glad I chose this company for my roof. Many areas of the roof deck needed to be replaced and also an attic wall next to a chimney. This was done with skill and true craftsmanship. Bernardo, the lead supervisor in charge, was very experienced, knowledgeable and communicated each step of the way. He explained the issues found in a way that helped me understand and trust they were fixing the roof in a way that would keep the roof and home safe and secure in the decades to come - excellent communication. The crew that came, worked hard and consistently through the record cold December temperatures. They were hardworking, knowledgeable and polite. In my opinion, Scenic View gives the kind of customer service rarely seen in modern companies. They care about their clients, your home and stand behind their work. A true pleasure to work with. Besides all this, the new roof looks gorgeous!"

"I’ve used Scenic View Roofing on two separate roofing projects. The first project was a true 5-star experience — excellent pricing, strong workmanship, great communication, and flawless work on the roof from start to finish. On this most recent project, there were some challenges that came up before and after installation. To their credit, once concerns were discussed, they returned to correct the porch roof and soffit, repaired the exterior capping, and worked with me to reach a fair resolution. The crew kept the job site clean, and the final results look great. The roof, skylights, gutters, and ceiling repair all came out excellent. No project is perfect, but what matters is how a company responds when something needs attention. Scenic View stood behind their work and followed through. In the end, everything was resolved professionally, and I would absolutely use them again in the future."

"Great experience from beginning to end. The crew did an excellent job; I applaud them for their perseverance in the bitter cold to install a metal roof. Scenic View came recommended from two different sources and they did not disappoint. Highly recommend!"
